Comment mettre place l'utilisation du portail Web avec l'authentification?

With this Web Portal feature, LAN clients will be required to log in for Internet access. However, Administrator may also set up a list of IP address which LAN clients can access without logging-in.

Part A. Set up Web Portal with Authentication

  1. Create user profiles at User Management >> User Profile.

    1. Click Add to add a new profile.

    2. Enter Username

    3. Enable this profile

    4. Enter Password

    5. Enable Allow Web Portal Login in User Management Field.

    6. Click Apply to save the profile.

  1. Go to User Management >> Web Portal >> General Setup.

    1. Enable Web Portal

    2. Select a Login Mode..

    3. Select Authentication Type. You may choose multiple Authentication types, and the system will adopt Local first, then Guest, Radius, and finally LDAP.

    4. Enable Bulletin Board, so that you can provide a message to LAN clients after they log in.

    5. Click Apply to save the configuration.

  1. After the above configuration, when LAN clients trying to access the Internet before loggin in, they will be redirected to the Portal Page. You may Edit the “Welcome Message”, “Login Image” and “Background Image” at User Management >> Web Portal >> Portal Page Setup.

  1. After authenticate successfully, they will see the “Authorization Message” and the “Bulletin Message”, and after that they will be free to use the Internet service.

  1. You may check the online users at User Management >> Web Portal >> Online User Status.

Part B. Pass Specific Websites

Administrator may also set up a list of websites (IP addresses) that LAN clients are allowed to access even when they have not logged in. (For example, allow the LAN clients to browse the company's homepage). It is similar to setting up a white list in Firewall Filters.

  1. Go to IP Objects Settings >> IP Object, click Add to add the IP address of the website you would like to pass.

  1. Go to Firewall >> Filter Setup >> IP Filter, Add a Group then Add a Rule in the Group.

    1. Enable the Profile.

    2. Select Action as Accept.

    3. Select the Destination IP as the IP Object we created in Step1.

    4. Click Apply to save the profile.

  1. After the above configuration, LAN clients may still go to those specific websites without Authentication; while go to other websites will be redirected to the login page.
